Welcome to the Community Bake Off Challenge! Take on the challenge, showcase your talent and win a prize!
Join us for a fun-filled and exciting Bake off Challenge event at the Grand Eid festival in Edinburgh. Whether you're an experienced baker or simply enjoy cooking at home, this is your chance to showcase your favourite sweet or savoury dish in a fun, friendly, and family-oriented atmosphere.
Participants will prepare and present their dishes to a panel of judges, who will score entries based on:

The Community Bake Off Challenge is open to all ages and promises a lively, welcoming environment filled with delicious food, entertainment, and community togetherness. Friends, families, and supporters are invited to come along and enjoy the event. On the day there will be loads of fun-filled activities including Street food, Life Style Bazaar, Kids Adventure Zone and inflatables.

Your ticket covers admission to the venue. Games, food and drink are available to purchase separately in the Food Street section.
Yes. Ticket pricing is the same for both adults and children.
Tickets will need to be purchased in advance and confirmation of booking is to be presented on the day.
In the event of bad weather, the festival will still go ahead as it will be held partially indoors.
Heriot-Watt University has many free parking spaces.
Yes, the venue has step-free access.
There will be some seating available at the venue. Priority goes to elderly and disabled attendees, so please be mindful of this when using the seats.
Doors will open at 12:00 and close at 19:00.
